Book Shelves

Some have a weakness for shoes, some for bags others for stationeries. I have a weakness for books. For the ninth year, the National Library is having their annual book sales. I have yet been to one, and not going to this year's either. I am sure, after telling myself, browse only, I will end up with tons of books, to good to pass. My bookshelves are busting.
In order to find spaces on the book shelves for new books, books that have been very well read, torn and in mint condition books, that has never been read over a certain period of time, are cleared from the library. In some countries, the National Library appeals for book donations. Now how am I going to clear my Book shelves. Anyone interested can check out the hyperlink.

Hi, We just finished our second batch of compost with the NatureMill automatic composter and it works really well. In order to use it on indoor plants you just need to put the fresh compost on a flat tray and leave it outside for a few days to dry out more and then it is suitable for indoor plants. I think I can tell it is helping the plants already. If you get it, use this coupon code CXMZ83 to get $30 off, good for 2 more months or so (90 days since I purchased). Let me know how it goes if you compost...

You can clear your bookshelves by donating your books to churches for their jumble sales, or to the St Vincent De Paul's 2nd hand shop or this Women's Welfare Organisation on Waterloo St. they sell 2nd hand stuff to raise funds to help the under priviledged.

book buyer and book reader are two distinct and different species but they think they are one.

SAHM
Thank you for the information. Will remember this, when I clear my bookshelves in Nov.

I agree. Book buyers like to possess, add intrigue to the book shelves and hopefully will pick up the book in the near future. whereas, a book reader, chooses a good crisp book and read it again and again keeping it in mint condition.
