Orion's Belt

On a clear cloudless night sky, try star gazing. If you see three stars in a row, that's Orion's belt. Orion (the Hunter) is one of the oldest and most recognized constellations in the sky. Orion is a very user-friendly constellation: its bold 3-star belt
Alnitak, Alnilam and Mintaka. These three prominent stars in the central regions of the constellation of Orion align to form the 'belt' of the Hunter.
It's always a delight to point up in the sky and say in confident,"that's Orion's belt" A sure conversational piece.

I am only to happy to share it with all. My sailor boy gave me a lesson on stargazing long long time ago.

Yah I remember our army days when they taught us how to orientate by looking at the stars. I still remember field camp and clear skies in in Pulau Ubin. But everything else forgotten. 30 yrs flow by just like that.

Yes, time flies. More so now, when I am so preoccupied with my children and work.

Normally visible on a clear sky. See can be clearly seen over in Penang. Happy star gazing. With your camera how about a shot?
