Custard apple

Oh yes, the other favourite in mum's garden. The angmoh nona, custard apple . As usual you'll have to beat the birds to it. Either you pluck it before it's fully ripen from the tree or share with the birds. Must be the delectable sweet scent that wafts the morning air.

Used to have one apple custard trees at the backyard of my old house in Sarawak (during my secondary school days) ;)

The huge australian grown can be found here in singapore and at the Pulau Tikus market. At S$8/kg!!

Ah... brings back memories. As a kid, me and the other kids would pluck them from a huge plant in the neighbour's yard.

Definately we have more fun when we were young then the children today. My son has never climbed a tree before. Only the school fencing!!
