Sunday


Suddenly felt like having a bowl of porridge. Savoury. Zipped to the market at 7.25am for some minced meat. Some corianders and spring onions. Ginger and chilli.
Presto my breakfast at 9.00am

Hmm ahhh porriage, me like, just bought some mince pork, kiam chy, kiam nooi (duck egg) and phi than with making porriage in mind, yummeh. Hubby say porriage oni for sick people I dun care, if he dun want to eat better still more share for me.

i like the cantonese version.. with the extra smooth silken taste.. that comes from soaking the rice grains overnight? or by adding some rice starch.
