A Dose of bitter

An occasional dose of goodness in this fruit Not a dish the children look forward to though. As in life, maturity and wisdom comes from the varied bitter sweet experiences .

Nope. Not yet. Does it taste any more bitter? Dreaded it when I was a child, but somehow over the years, my taste buds gotten desensetised!!

the smaller ones are not actually more bitter, they are sweeter in a sense. more crisp.

normal ones should be cut and soaked in salt water to soften the structure and lessen the bitterness. rinse in clean water before cooking to rid the salt.

Hmmm... it helps to lower blood pressure... I blended the small ones once. Couldn't handled it. Ended up mixing it with apple juice and pineapple juice. Yucks.
