A barrel of laughter.

In The sunday times yesterday. 1 set of parents in a 2 bathroom 3 bedroom maisonette no maid (I assume) has 4 lovely girls and 4 strapping boys provide 3 square meals minus unhealthy MacD and KFC with 5 pairs of hands to cart the groceries in 10 bikes divided by 10 users equates to

A family of love laughter and fun. My heartfelt admiration to the Kwok family in Pasir Ris.

Yeah, I see the difficulty on space and yet able to get along fine. :) .. With my 2 kids is already a fight and tussle over small petty stuff.

You mean the parents? Empty nest? They would probably say "Phew!! Now for some serious holidays".

When the storks have left the nest, perhaps Mr and Mrs Kwok would consider having another? You think some couple do that? I could almost hear them say, "Oh dearie, what we gonna do to while away our time now that the storks have all flown.... Let's try another, for old time's sake..." LOL

Reminds me of a wonderful book I read titled Cheaper By The Dozen. It was written by one of the children of America's pioneering industrial engineers named Frank Gilbreth and his wife Lillian.

They had exactly 6 boys and 6 girls and applied many of the productivity techniques of IE to manage that big, happy household. Lillian Gilbreath lived to her 90's and was honoured as one of the first female presidents of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. She even had some stamps dedicated to her.
