The perfect smile

For cosmetic purpose, would one, remove 2 to 4 teeth, go through 1 and 1/2 years of restricted diet, constant discomfort and hours of flossing and brushing ? Not to mention the numerous visits to tighten the discomfort further.
I am bewildered.

Speaking of which, I'm suffering painful bouts of toothache these past days... it comes and goes, making me cranky and angry at the slightest irrition. The man in white told me I have decays in my molar. Extraction is advised. But I lost my nerve at the 11th hour. And rather, quite foolishly, downed panadol to numb my pain ...

Hehehe...me the same. I really dread visiting the dentist. But don't procrastinate or it could be worse. If it has to be done, it has to be done.

goes to show that ppl have lost all sense of values and proportion. brainwashed by the mass media and pop culture, they think that looks are everything. and the wrong role model like kate moss and shallow sluts like paris hilton are worshipped. sad.

the chorus of one of neil simon's song comes to mind - "... who's gonna love u when your looks are gone? ... when your looks are gone?"
