Oblivious

Boarded the mrt at Paya Lebar on a friday afternoon and I caught sight of this. Oblivious to the surrounding as he sat by the train door, reading his book . Even when the mrt doors open and passengers trouped in and out, with some accidentally nudging him. A sight so rare today. At Clementi he alighted. Alone. I'm sure his mother would be proud of him if she sees this photo of him.

Probably doing some last minute mugging for his exams? .. or some really interesting novel.

it's even a rarer sight here in Boleh-Land!

not only because we haven't cultivated the reading habit well, but more so because NO WELL-MEANING PARENTS will ever allow their little kids to travel in trains alone!!

SAHM:
I spent quite sometime observing him and realised that he was reading a storybook. Probably this is how he spent his travelling time.

Doc:
I know what you mean.

Aww, the little darling. Noticed where he placed his watch. Marvellous.
