It has been cool weather for the last 4 days. Not complaining. Doing my bit to save energy. Air-cond is off. However, my clothes are not drying!!! The socks! The towels! Getting in and out of the car in the torrential rain is wet affair not matter how well you plan to keep the umbrella as close as possible to the car door. Rainy day attire, flipflop and shorts. Otherwise, it more washing.

Splish splash

Get a rain coat or poncho and cover car seats with a big towel - then we are ready for that rainy day - umbrella or not. Mine is fire engine red - so I am quite a sight. I think my kids cringe when it rains coz I am there in my raincoat waiting for them - they cant miss me!!
it can get slippery with flipflops - try krocs.

Yes, I know, had a few near slip. Will look around for a funky croc the next time I go shopping.
